EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) aims to ensure that products placed on the EU market are sourced from legal and traceable raw materials and are not associated with deforestation or forest degradation. As a furniture manufacturing company with long-term experience in international markets, ORCCO Furniture Manufacturing Co., Ltd. regards compliance and sustainability as integral parts of its business operations and continuously aligns its practices with EU regulatory requirements, proactively establishing an EUDR compliance framework.

Today, ORCCO successfully completed the EUDR-related audit, with its overall performance positively recognized by the auditor. Only one improvement recommendation was identified: while the company has an established complaint management mechanism, a formal documented procedure has not yet been finalized. Although no complaints have occurred to date, the auditor recommended further developing a written procedure covering complaint handling as well as corrective actions in cases of non-compliance, in order to continuously enhance the completeness of the compliance system. The relevant certificate is expected to be issued before December 25. According to the latest policy update, the official implementation of EUDR has been postponed to December 2026, providing companies and supply chain partners with a more sufficient preparation period for compliance.
